2017 Chrysler Pacifica New Touring Plus Trim Starts At 33,455 Dollars

Chrysler announced that the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica would have a sixth trim level after a year that the model was originally introduced to the market. Placing it in the middle of the Pacifica lineup, the Touring Plus has a starting price at $33,455.

"The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica arrived in dealerships a year ago, and in that time, it has both resonated with our current minivan customers and brought new minivan buyers to the brand," said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands - Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat, FCA - North America. "The addition of the new Touring Plus model to the Pacifica lineup builds on this success, delivering another option to meet the needs and price point of more customers."

The Touring Plus will offer some visual and convenience upgrades but still keeps the cloth seats. On the exterior, the model gets the mesh lower fascia and fog lights that are also shared with the higher trim levels, LED taillights and plus projector headlights. For customers comfort and convenience, it will come with a three-zone climate control, a universal garage door opener, power liftgate, and second and third-row sunshades to give passengers the limo experience.

All Touring Plus models will be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 287 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 6.7 seconds.

In addition, for customers who will order a Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus with 18-inch wheels and 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen system will get a single overhead DVD player (valued at $995) at no cost. Customers can also now pick from six trim levels such as LX, Touring Plus, Touring, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus and Limited. The standard model starts from $30,090.

On the other hand, the Pacifica Hybrid is available in two trim levels and can be even more expensive. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus is now on sale at dealerships together with the rest of the minivan lineup.
