BlackBerry KeyOne Ready For Pre-Order Next Month!

BlackBerry fans have something to look forward to next month. The BlackBerry KeyOne is finally available for pre-ordering and it begins May 18, 2017, in most markets. BlackBerry is certainly back on track and may soon be on top of everyone's list once again.

BlackBerry KeyOne is most likely to start its pre-order process in the country of origin, Canada. It will be available in select carriers with the official launch weeks later on May 31. US fans will also have to wait until May 31 to order the upcoming mobile device.

For those residing in the UK, the BlackBerry KeyOne may be picked up on April 27th at the Selfridges department store in Oxford Street which retails for around $550. Carphone Warehouse is also reported to begin selling the device on May 5, 2017, with carrier availability expanding throughout May.

Since this phone was introduced to the world earlier this year, it is expected to make waves as it can already be used soon enough. No longer will people have to rely on videos for its capabilities as they can soon experience and witness, first hand its unique characteristics.

This upcoming BlackBerry device runs on Android 7.1. It is also relatively smaller than other devices of its kind for only having a 4.5-inch display. The QWERTY keyboard is also present, paying homage to a feature unique to BlackBerry. It is also not as powerful as other devices such as Galaxy S8 and LG LG6 as it only comes in mid-range Snapdragon 635 processor.

The BlackBerry KeyOne, formerly called as "Mercury" will soon be made available in the U.S. in both GMS and CDMA variants. This is necessary so the handset can be used on all of the U.S. carriers. Carriers such as Sprint will be carrying the KeyOne as mentioned specifically. Stay tuned for other important developments relating to its pre-order and release process.
