2018 BMW M550i xDrive: Overcomes The Increasingly Complex Challenges Of Day-To-Day Mobility

BMW M GmbH is finally bringing out the 2018 BMW M550i xDrive. It is a sporty BMW M Performance version of the world's most successful business sedan. This new model will undertake the standing of range-topper in the German brand's 5-Series line-up.

This model is a four-door sports car and is known to be the most powerful business sedan in its lineup. It comes with an impressive huge torque reserves and high-revving characteristics. With its V8 power unit, it offers up an excellent blend of supreme performance, incredible precise driving dynamics, and an uncompromised regular usability.

When it comes to the exterior which usually caught every customer's attention, this new model from BMW expresses the sedan's bold, dynamic capabilities while underlining its label as the flagship model in the BMW's new 5-series range. What makes this model more exciting is its offering of a wider choice of assistance system. The options include Active Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistant which now features an extended functionality, and an Intelligent Speed Limit Assist that allows an automatic import of speed limits into the cruise control system.

The 2018 BMW M550i xDrive is the first model of the BMW 5-Series M Performance that will be powered by a petrol engine, specifically, a modified eight-cylinder M Performance TwinPower Turbo with 4.4 liters of displacement. Meanwhile, the V8 comes with two twin-scroll turbochargers featuring the High Precision Injection system, Valvetronic fully variable valve timing, and the Double-VANOS variable camshaft control.

This latest generation 2018 BMW M550i xDrive also enables a close-knit connectivity between the driver, vehicle, and the outside world with its BMW Connected. The new system links different devices just like smartphones, smartwatches, computers, tablets, and even the car's navigation system with BMW servers, which is a highly impressive intelligent technology.
