Tesla Partners With I-CAR To Add 300 Body Shops In Preparation For Increasing Demand For Tesla Model 3

Tesla anticipates an increasing demand for its upcoming Tesla Model 3. The company has just announced its partnership with I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) to be able to meet its target to accredit 300 more body shops in the near future.

The company has reportedly updated its body shop program and plans to accredit more body shops in the near future. Tesla president Jon McNeil announced the company's plan to accredit additional 300 body shops.

Apparently, the company is expecting a growing demand for the upcoming Tesla Model 3. To be able to service its future clients well, the company is now preparing to expand its network of body shops.

Tesla aims to update its body shop program, targeting to offer lower repair cost, as well as better access to repair. To be able to achieve this, the company is reportedly reducing the cost and simplifying the training cost for its body shop program.

With the help of I-CAR, Tesla will be able to update and accredit more body shops. The I-CAR is a global non-profit organization which provides information, knowledge and the skills needed to execute comprehensive, safe and quality repairs.

Reports say that aspiring body shops go through rigorous training prior to passing the accreditation process. The updated body shops program in partnership with I-CAR will help improve the process.

According to the leaked email from Tesla to its body shop, the updated body shops program means the company will shift its training course via online. In this way, the in-person training for the technicians of aspiring body shops will now be eliminated.

The leaked email also detailed that Tesla sees it beneficial to simplify the training process and to reduce the cost and complexity of the required tools in repairing the Tesla models.

Furthermore, the leaked email ended with exciting news regarding the upcoming Tesla Model 3. It was revealed that the company is about to release more teasers for the highly anticipated Model 3 in the near future.
