US-Bound Jaguar XF Sportbrake Teases In A Wimbledon Promotion

It is fitting for the US-bound Jaguar XF Sportbrake to make an appearance in what industry experts may call a teaser in a Wimbledon promotion. Jaguar is the official car partner of Wimbledon so it is the best place and event to be showcased.

There were recent spy shots also made available giving little bit of hints on the Jaguar XF Sportbrake. The Jaguar XF Sportbrake is expected to make waves in the U.S. soon enough.

There were images released showing a bird's eye view of the U.S. bound car. It is aptly called a teaser, so teased it did. The specific available view of the XF's image didn't give much information except for coming in white as one of its colors.

Industry experts and car enthusiasts, however, still have to make do with what is available. Limited details of the car's tail suggest that Jaguar has opted to go for more conventional, body-colored D-pillars. This is different from the previous XF Sportbrake which featured a piano black D-pillar panels.

Another observed detail is the glass roof. From the observation, it shows that there are no seams which indicates it as one big and fixed panel. The recent Wimbledon promotion also gave a little bit of information on the Sportbrake, thanks to Ian Callum, director of design for Jaguar.

Sure, his words are very enticing and interesting. However, the most important part is when the silhouette of the Jaguar XF Sportbrake appeared at the end of the video. It doesn't show much but it can again add an additional ounce of how the Sportbrake is going to look like.

It appears that the Jaguar XF Sportbrake which is bound to be sold in U.S. takes on a wagon appearance. It is expected that its powertain is the similar to those of XF sedan which in U.S. means inline-4 diesel in the base trip and supercharged V-6 and higher.
