2018 Buick Regal GS Recently Leaked In China; Appears Very Appealing

The Buick made headlines at the 2017 New York Auto Show. However, not to be outdone, the 2018 Buick Regal GS is also making its fair share of news in the orient. The Buick Regal GS is recently leaked in China suggesting that it may as more appealing and athletic than its US counterparts.

The Regal GS in China is recently leaked to have 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo which is capable of producing 255-horsepower. The leaked photos also showcase the extent of visual changes from Sportback to GS. With this said, there is definitely more to be liked in the new variant.

Some notable developments in the 2018 Buick Regal GS show that its chrome air inlets are integrated into the sides of the bumper. There is also a lower front fascia and darkened headlights. To keep the significant changes going, it also is expected to have matte black wheels with red brake calipers and more prominent side skirts.

Though the leaked photos only show the exterior, the interior is also expected to come more updated. It is expected to come with an updated infotainment system and a more comfortable cabin to benefit both the driver and the passengers. It is obvious that the Chinese division of Buick did an exceptional job in making the Regal become even sportier and more appealing- inside and out.

The 2018 Buick Regal GS is also reported to be powered by the same 2.0-liter engine. The North American GS will be more powerful as it is expected to use a 3.6-liter V-6 engine which is capable of producing 335-horsepower. Two things come to play- looks and power. While the Chinese counterpart looks sportier, the North American variant comes packed with more power.

The 2018 Buick Regal GS is exceptional in its own right as it is expected to do well in China. Thanks to the recently leaked photos, industry experts, and car enthusiasts have somehow a good idea of how it is going to look like and how it is expected to perform.
