2017 Wards’ 10 Best Interiors Winners: Bentley Bentayga, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Maserati Levante, Honda CR-V & Subaru Impreza

The list of the 2017 Wards' 10 Best Interiors winners has been posted. The Alfa Romeo Giulia, Bentley Bentayga, Buick LaCrosse, Honda CR-V, Lexus LC 500 and other five models have earned the top 10 spots among the 31 contenders.

WardsAuto has released the final 2017 Best 10 Interiors list of winners. Seven brands have finally earned its very first spot in the list while the other three brands have been a regular winner.

The 2017 Wards' Best 10 Interiors winners are as follows (in alphabetical order): Alfa Romeo Giulia, Bentley Bentayga, Buick LaCrosse, Honda CR-V, Lexus LC 500, Lincoln Continental, Maserati Levante, Mazda CX-9, Mini Countryman, and Subaru Impreza. The list came from the 31 models which were deemed eligible and were evaluated by the editors of the magazine.

WardsAuto has been recognizing the best interiors from deserving car models for seven years. This year's list includes seven brands which are first-timers in the list.

The first-timers in the list are Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Buick, Lincoln, Maserati, Mini and Subaru. Whereas, Lexus, Honda and Mazda have already been recognized as winners in the previous years. Surprisingly, the regular winners Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, and Mercedes-Benz did not make it to the top 10 this year.

Drew Winter, WardsAuto senior content director, said the company aims to annually gather a diverse list which represents as many price points and segments available. As evident in the top 10 winners, the list includes varying price points from the least expensive Subaru Impreza at $29,260 to the most expensive Bentley Bentayga at $278,730.

The magazine seems to have been strictly implementing its goal to compile a diverse list. The inclusion of the seven new brands, which have earned a spot on the top 10 list for the first time, is a proof of this goal and further testifies technology advancements in the new models.

The 2017 Wards' 10 Best Interiors award is based heavily on the luxury side of the market. The evaluation process takes place during the months of February and March, and the result is released in April.
