The Audi Sportback E-Tron Concept has been teased again. It seems that the upcoming BMW X6 rival is making some noise ahead of its 2017 Shanghai Auto Show official launch.

Audi has just released new teasers for the upcoming Sportback E-Tron. The new model sports several new designs which seem to contribute to the futuristic look of the new concept.

Interestingly, the teaser photos reveal the logo has been enhanced as there is now a lighting effect on the four-ring logo of the brand. The logo on the front and rear are now illuminated.

The teasers also reveal the front bumper has LED lights. Moreover, the flat-looking facade has been revised to sport a more distinct look through the addition of diamond-shaped patterns.

Whereas, the back has been improved with modern taillights intertwined in the middle. This new design projects a wider look for the new model.

With regard to the size of the new E-Tron, the teaser images reveal the new model has some resemblance with Audi A7. The former has similar body shape with the latter, except that the latter is shorter. Furthermore, the contrasting moldings of the body make the new model look more like an SUV.

Although the automaker has not confirmed the classification of the new E-Tron, reports believe that the new model will be a fully electric vehicle. The theory was strengthened with the revelation from the new teasers.

Analysts say that the abundant LED lights and the grille area designs point to a high possibility that the new model will be a battery electric vehicle.

The new Sportback E-Tron is expected to arrive at the showroom in 2019. Audi is expected to release three new electric vehicles by 2020 and the new Sportback is believed to be one of the three. The other two electric vehicle models would be the SUV E-Tron Quattro concept and the other unknown premium electric vehicle.
