The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon finally had its official reveal. It definitely had industry experts and car enthusiasts' hearts beating off their chests as it was introduced. Demons are no longer fictional characters as it now comes in the form of one hot ride. The latest Challenger SRT Demon is certainly demonic in more ways than one.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was finally revealed at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The reveal was coupled with great effects and an outstanding production, fit for a ride as powerful and as "demonic" as the Demon. To even add to this auspicious event, Dodge proclaims that it is shaking the foundation of the entire performance car industry.

Such big words, but will the Demon live up to it? Most definitely! The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has the highest horsepower V-8 production car engine ever produced. It is capable of producing 840-horsepower and 770 pound-feet of torque because of its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Demon V-8 Engine.

The Demon is also a Guinness World Records holder for being the first ever front-wheel lift in a production car for having 2.92 feet. To make things even better, it is TOO fast for the drag strip, it was officially banned by National Hot Rod Association or NHRA. Its engines when in full throttle can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 2.3-seconds, the fastest ever in a production car!

The list of its demonic record-breaking performance continues. The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has the highest G-Force acceleration for having 1.8 G. It can go zero to 30 mph in just a second! This is one insane ride!

The 2018 Demon is expected to be available in showrooms by fall of this year and will have a base price of $85,000. However, this may even skyrocket because of its high demand. Dodge is reported to only produce 3,000 Demons for the 2018 model with additional 300 for Canada.

A lot of records have already been broken by the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. It is definitely one of the most coveted as owning it is like owning a piece of history.
