The 2018 Hyundai Sonata will be launched at the 2017 New York Auto Show that will have a sportier look than its predecessors. The new version of the car will have a redesigned front grille, new LED running lights and redesigned tail lights, possessing a new trunk badge that is also the trunk handle.
There will also be additional technological upgrades that can be found in the car. It has a wireless phone charger, larger touchscreen infotainment display, more USB charging ports, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Hyundai is also developing a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline 4 engine that will probably be included in the new car. The upcoming Hyundai Sonata also has an eight-speed unit system that has better performance and greater fuel-efficiency.
The 2018 Sonata will have a more aggressive and angry looking vibe, which has a hexagonal front intake called cascading grille. It also has large LED headlamps, corner intakes, and hood bulges.
The 2018 Hyundai Sonata also has a more simple rear-end. Inside, the new Sonata looks better than before that has a blind-spot monitor with a rear cross-traffic alert and optional lane departure with steering assist.
Aside from that, the car also has an audio and climate control. It has a climate control and revision to the instrument cluster and steering wheel.
The new Hyundai Sonata also has a 7-inch touchscreen technical package that has an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also additional USB charging ports, Qi Wireless pad, and AVN 5.0 Navigation software.
The car also comes with a Blue Link connectivity, including the Amazon Echo and Google Home. The phone will also feature a three-year subscription that includes the Blue Link Connected Care and Remote and Guidance telematics packages.
As mentioned earlier, the 2018 Hyundai Sonata will be launched at the New York International Auto Show on April 14. The New York International Auto Show will be released via live-stream for car enthusiasts who can't watch the show.
