2018 Volkswagen Golf Will Rock the 2017 New York Auto Show

The 2018 Volkswagen Golf will be launched at the 2017 New York Auto Show offering a great infotainment system and a powerful engine. The infotainment system called Discovery Media Navigation System is reported to be more advanced than its competitors. 

The Discovery Media Navigation System has an 8.0-inch touchscreen and will be an option to the car. It will have an exterior design that has new bumpers, chrome grille and alloy wheel designs.

The 2018 Volkswagen Golf also has a powerful engine that can produce 170 hp and 1.8-liter turbo four that can be paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Two of the car's new versions Golf SportWagen and the Golf AllTrack has the same engine. However, users can choose between a six-speed manual and a six-speed dual clutch automatic choice.

Golf SportsWagen and Golf All-Wheel Drive also comes with an optional S Trim on its four-wheel drive. This allows users to have similar options as a high-riding AllTrack car. 

Aside from that, the 2018 Volkswagen Golf has a 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine. The car also carries 170-horsepower that has a 1.8-liter turbocharged TSI 4-cylinder engine.

One of aforementioned car's version, the Golf R, has a 4Motion AWD that has a 292 hp and a 2.0-liter TSI turbo. The car also has a 6.5-inch touchscreen that has an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

It also has an automatic headlight, rain-sensing wiper, and 15-inch alloy wheels. The car also has a mid-grade SE variant that has a keyless entry.

The 2018 Volkswagen Golf also has an all-wheel drive model that has 16-inch alloy wheels and heated front seats. It also has an SEL navigation system, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, 12-way power driver's seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror and interior ambient lighting.

The car also has LED headlights, Fender Premium Audio System and lane, park and light assist systems. It also has an optional parking sensor for Golf Hatchback, Golf Alltrack, and Golf SportsWagen.

The 2018 Volkswagen Golf will be available this fall. To date, there has been no announcement on the pricing of the car.
