2017 Mazda CX-5: The Next Generation Arrived; Soon To Be The Hottest Selling Crossover SUV In Australia

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 has been created for the sole purpose of being the best selling Crossover SUV in Australia just like how the Mazda CX-6 has been selling for 4 years. Why do Australians love this car so much? This is due to its features that drew mass appeal in the continent.

But being the number 1 selling Crossover SUV would not let Mazda sit on its laurels. The new generation car, the 2017 Mazda CX-5   has been created in order to sustain its popularity. The new car is roomier and has better legroom coupled with a larger cargo space. It was also built for more comfort by making quieter than the old generation.

The standard 2017 Mazda CX-5 has a 155 HP, 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine. it is a front wheel drive vehicle with a six-speed manual transmission gearbox. For more power, it can be upgraded to an 184 HP, 2.5 liters 4 cylinder engine. Upgrades include being a 4 wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission gear box. Safety was considered when designing the car. AEB and blind spot monitors are standard on all models but you can add adaptive cruise control and lane assist for upgrades.

Fuel economy has become an improvement on the new model.  The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is estimated to consume 6 liters to 7.5 liters for every 100 km of travel.

Every model of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 comes in with a push button start and great infotainment. High-perched front seats were designed for a more comfortable ride, getting a wider view of the road ahead bring in more accuracy while driving. Despite the changes made to the new generation, they are still considered mild. This is to sustain market appeal on the car. Priced competitively and designed to be more appealing, Mazda Australia hopes to keep the winning tradition for the new car in the years to come.
