2017 Lamborghini Centenario: It Looks Forwad To Honoring The Legendary Ferruccio Lamborghini

The 2017 Lamborghini Centenario is this year's latest in Lamborghini's series of so-called "one-off limited edition." It was made to pay tribute to Ferrucio Lamborghini which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and also marks the 50th anniversary of the debut of the stunning Miura.

The car's body has an incredibly appealing design. It is jagged and severe, and its form is following an aero-driven function with a satisfying dose of evil.

Centenario can be recognized quickly as Lamborghini due to its distinction to the dorsal-finned Veneno. The new model has a hexagonal glass, smooth silhouette, and horizontally oriented headlamps. The gouge-like air intakes rising from the rocker panels and roof on each side of the car are bold. Air gulping front fascia, shelf-like rocket panels with vertical fins, air extractors located in front of the windshield, triangular vents to cool the brakes in all four corners, and the distinct lack of rear bumper are also some of the features that are included on the exterior of the Centenario.

The 2017 Lamborghini Centenario comes with sports seats that are made up of carbon fiber and several amounts of stitched leather and microsuede. It also features an upgraded infotainment system that has a 10.1-inch in size high-definition touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, performance data recorder, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Performance data recorder measures the speed, lap times during track excursions and the g-forces.

Centenario is entirely composed of carbon fiber that helps keep a dry weight of 3,351 pounds. The new model comes with one of Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V-12 engine that pumps 759 horsepower. The 2017 Lamborghini Centenario is said to reached 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and 186 mph in 23.5 seconds.

Last March during the 87th Geneva International Motor Show, it was said that 40 Lamborghini Centenario were already sold before it was shown to the public. It was sold with a $1.9 million pre-tax. As to the deliveries, it will start this fall and onwards.
