2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST: A Refined SUV With Exceptional Ride Comfort And Interior Quietness

One of the American automobile manufacturer, Chevrolet, has recently introduced a newly made special edition for their Tahoe. The 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST is a large performance SUV to compete with its rivalries in the booming industry segment of SUVs.

The edition will be available with chevy's new performance package that comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, magnetic ride control, performance calibration, and the new Hydra-Matic 10L80 10-speed transmission in automatic. With this package, the all-new Tahoe RST offers 420 of horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Its magnetic ride control reads every millisecond that triggers damping changing in the car's electronically shock absorbers in just a few five milliseconds. It results in the suspension to deliver a body-motion control in a state of cornering, and a more comfy ride when cruising. As to the vehicle's performance calibration from the RST package, it increases the body control for a higher volume of responsiveness and comfort.

This engine for the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST features state-of-the-art technologies from active fuel management, direct injection, and a continuously variable valve timing. It makes the most of the power, torque, and efficiency for a broad range of different operating conditions.

According to the Marketing Director of Chevrolet Truck, Sandor Piszar, the company continues to invest on Tahoe, as well as the Suburban and develop it with technology, capability, and performance. They always make it a priority to provide the needs of their customers. He also added, "The RST is designed for customers who want a street performance look without sacrificing capability or refinement, along with the option of increased performance as well."

Basing on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST's preliminary estimation, the RST performance package will provide an 8,400 pounds of towing capacity and an acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just less than 6 seconds. As for the car's full performance metrics, it will be known closer to its launching.
