Bentley Mulsanne: Still Is The Most Powerful Four-Door In The World?

Bentley claims that Bentley Mulsanne is the most powerful four-door. Well, other vehicles of its kind may retaliate. However, note that this is indeed a powerful four-door whether or not it goes neck-and-neck against its other competitions.

For one, Brabus may be the first to somehow combat Bentley's claim. Then again, it is best to forget about others and focus on the power the Mulsanne is packing. The Mulsanne received a facelift last year with the prison bar grille and realignment of the headlights as its subtle changes. Other than that, it still pretty much remains the same.

The Bentley Mulsanne is the biggest and most expensive vehicle of Bentley. It is over 5.5 meters long and cost well over a minimum of $240,000. This is perfect for heads of states and those that belong to the royal family for being decorous, stately, and in a way unapproachable. It is indeed decadence and opulence in wheels.

The Speed version comes with 6.75-liter twin turbo V-8 which is capable of producing 530-bhp and 811 pound-feet of torque. This is considerably more powerful by eight percent compared to its predecessor. The Speed also can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds adding 6mph to its top speed now at 190mph. Though a significant improvement, some industry experts, and car enthusiasts are not totally impressed.

There is also a Bentley Mulsanne recently making the rounds on the internet with some industry experts calling it a "murdered Mulsanne." Some think it is to the very least cool, but some think it is sickening. There were a good number of Mulsanne characteristics that got compromised.

The Bentley Mulsanne is characterized by its classy chrome and distinctive paint finishes, coupled with exceptionally crafted wheels. This particular one comes in black, looking like that of a stealth fighter in matte. No shine, no chrome, nothing- just all blacked out.

Some fans are forgiving the Bentley Mulsanne a different character while most find it blasphemous for taking away everything that makes it an opulent ride. Whatever the reaction is, Mulsanne screams of power and opulence. Others may want to give a different flavor so it has to be respected. Let's see how Bentley reacts to it.
