The 2019 Mazda RX-9 is the revival of Mazda's Winkel- powered sports car. Mazda Motor Corporation or commonly known as Mazda is a Japanese multinational automaker. Mazda was known for making 1.3 million vehicles for global sales in before and was the fifteenth biggest automaker by production worldwide.

This 2019 Mazda RX-9 will be built with the longer MX-5 chassis though it has a bit of change in the predecessor since the company wants to make it lighter, shorter, and narrower. The rear end is short and has a low height that will complete its design. Suggestions were made that the company must use carbon-fiber materials to lessen its cost and its weight since Mazda still uses aluminum and steel in making the car's body.

Its wheelbase is developed and increased too. Some parts of are from the RX-version, and it is expected that the headlights are slimmer, with a bigger grille and curvy lines on the body.

The 2019 Mazda RX-9 is expected to come as a two-seater vehicle, a two-door sports car, and a well-designed cabin. Controls and the center stack will be added to improve and give the drivers one of the best driving experience ever.

The 2019 Mazda RX-9 is also said to be powered by Wankel. Information about this engine is not yet revealed, but representatives from Mazda mentioned that this engine is good for improving the fuel consumption, reliability and as well as the power output. But according to some car enthusiasts, the brand may use a larger Wankel for the RX-9 that can go to 0.8-liter rotors to displace 1.6-liters. To improve the performance Apex-seals will also be installed. The 1.6-liter a capability to make a 400 horsepower and more than 300 pound-feet of torque with the rear wheel drive layout and manual gearbox.

The expected starting price of the 2019 Mazda RX-9 is about $50,000 for the base. Its release date and place of liberation are still unclear yet. So the long wait isn't over yet.
