Rocksteady announced that its Batman Arkham VR will no longer be just exclusive to the PlayStationVR. The British video game developer will be bringing the game to the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

Rocksteady bringing Batman Arkham VR to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Rocksteady launched the VR video game exclusive to the PlaystationVR back in October of last year. With VR hardware becoming more accessible at a lower cost than it initially was, Rocksteady has decided that it will now be bringing the game to the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift much to the excitement of gamers.

The game was consistently part of the top 10 most downloaded games on the PlaystationVR since its launch. It was one of the many games that looked really good on the system thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 platform.

The VR video game let's players take control of the Dark Knight as he goes about Gotham City to take on iconic villains. The game is praised for its game play during parts requiring the superhero's detective skills. Core combat game play, however, is quite disappointing.

Batman Arkham VR has been said to launch on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift this coming April 25. The game will come with full motion controller support on both devices. It is, however, still unknown if the game will native to both the Vive and Rift or launched on SteamVR with support for both devices. It is also unclear whether or not if the Oculus version will utilize the native Oculus SDK or if released on Oculus Home.

The game was initially seen on the PlayStation Store priced at US$20.00. Just recently, the Steam page for Batman Arkham shows the same price. A trailer for the game confirms the title launching to the said platforms without any other detail except for the same as shown on the PlayStationVR.
