Top Gear featured that the Italian Police had received their 2nd Lamborghini Huracan just recently. The car would be used for normal police patrol duties and transport of precious donated organs.  

It is not just the Italian State Police who are using top of the line super police cars. UK Police and the Dubai Police also have these vehicles.

The Lamborghini Huracan is an intensely designed car manufactured by the Italian car maker. It has a 507 HP 5.2 Liter V10 engine. It is paired to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission for ease in shifting. It offers a rear wheel drive and 4-wheel drive model. It can also accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds. Fuel efficiency is 14 to 20 mpg depending on where it is driven.

The Ford Mustang V8 is one the Top of the line Police Cars Worldwide. This brute belongs to the UK Police fleet. It is being used by the police force in their everyday task. This muscle car carries a monster engine under its hood. A 306 KW 5.0 liter, V8 petrol fires up its 6-speed automatic transmission. It's a rear-wheel drive vehicle that will give you a fuel efficiency of 100 km for every 12.6 gallons of petrol. A true muscle car but an affordable one.

Considered to be one of the leading police cars, the Dubai police force included the BMW i8 in its super fleet patrolling its streets. This super hybrid vehicle has a 7.1 KW high voltage lithium-ion, twin power turbo 3 cylinder electric motor for its power plant. It can produce a total power of 357 HP that allows it to accelerate at a speed of 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Fuel efficiency wise, it could go 76 MPGe and could travel 330 miles on one charge.
