The resurrection of the Jaguar E-Type will officially be announced at the Techno-Classica Essen. This news was gladly accepted by millions of fans worldwide.

The Techno-Classica is held annually in Essen, Germany. It has been going on since 1989.

It is the go-to event for everyone who is interested in classic cars and the automotive industry in general. This year, fans find out that Jaguar is in on the action.

In the event, Jaguar will showcase the first of 10 Series 1 E-Types that was restored by the automaker. Whether fans love or hate the E-type, the fact remains that it is one of the most celebrated British sports cars of all time.

The Jaguar E-Type is a unique beauty with incredible power. There really is no wonder why one unit will cost approximately $250,000.

For those who thought $250,000 is too much, the Jaguar E-Type reborn will cost more than that. According to Jaguar's Classic division, the prices will start from approximately $460,000.

The first car is set to be unveiled officially at Techno Classica, Germany next month. It will be a 1965 Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe 4.2.

The car has been restored to its "Concours-winning standard" by the company itself. The E-type was rebuilt as part of the JLR's 'Reborn' program. The program in question has also give way to an original Range Rover Classic undergo a full nut and bolt rebuild.

According to the Jaguar Classic team who rebuilt the car, the body shell, gearbox and engine remain original. The engineers also used the same original spot-welding techniques that were previously used when the E-Type was built originally. This was done to preserve authenticity.

The restoration process also includes sourcing original parts that are hard to find. It will have a 4.2-litre engine with a subtle cooling system upgrade designed for the Californian climate.

The all-synchromesh gearbox and larger series 2 front brake calipers, on the other hand, are added to complete the sympathetic upgrades. Tim Hannig, the director of Jaguar Land Rover's Classic division said, " "The launch of E-type Reborn is a hugely exciting development for Jaguar Classic. The E-type is the most iconic sports car of all time, so we are delighted to be able to give new life to expertly selected examples for discerning customers around the world to own and enjoy."
