2018 Toyota Supra Is By Far One Of The Most Hyped-Up Sports Car Ever Built

The collaboration between Toyota and BMW automakers is the reason behind why the 2018 Toyota Supra was created. This brand new sports car will highlight BMW's powertrain and the best of Toyota when it comes to design and performance. Even though BMW has been quiet on the exact specs of this car, the fact remains that this is a future sports car.

Everyone is expecting the design of the new Supra to be unique. The Z5 platform is a perfect style that the outlook will take. For enhanced speed, the designs get a streamlined designed along with side designs to give the car a more classy look.

In addition, it might use the lightweight concept of BMW and use carbon fiber. The low profiling and beastly look of the car may get new updates to make it look newer and modern.

On the inside, the new 2018 Toyota Supra will have leather seats with chrome finishes on its interior compartments and should fit the luxury of the sports car.  When it comes to driver convenience, the control is just simple but has a modern look including the center stack. Other upgrades will include the infotainment and a modern steering wheel that has a firmer grip and a better response.

Other safety features of the sports car will include collision, lane monitoring, and braking assists. The synchronization of the BMWi8 series will also come with the car to make sure the driver's safety.

The powertrain of the new Supra is still unknown. But according to speculations, it will likely receive a 2.0 L turbo four while the top trims will receive a BMW derived straight six or a V6 engine.

The 2.0 L turbo powertrain should make 200-250 hp from the four-cylinder, and 340 hp or more from the available six-cylinders. With this engine, the new Supra can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds. The engine will be paired either with an 8 or 10-speed automatic transmissions.

The 2018 Toyota Supra is expected to have a starting price of $55,000. With its performance and design, the price is worth the quality and class of the sports car. Toyota and BMW are having other launches of individual vehicles, which might delay the launch of the new sports car. But mid-2019 should be the maximum deadline of releasing of the new Supra to the market.
