Fiat 500 Mirror Special Edition: A Nifty Car for Millennials

As part of the company's effort to appeal to millennials, Fiat-Chrysler recently unveiled the Fiat 500 Mirror Special edition. This new version of the Fiat 500 packs a lot of tech features that are aimed to attract millennials.

The Fiat 500 Mirror Special edition was unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The car is available in two models, a hatch and a convertible. The new car targets millennials "who love new technologies and want to drive a car that is always connected and packed with contents."

The centerpiece of the special edition Fiat 500 is the 7-inch UConnect touchscreen which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionalities, according to FCA Authority. This is the first time these applications were supported on a Fiat 500 series of cars.

The new Fiat 500 Mirror Special edition also packs a wide array of safety features. Among the confirmed standard features are Cruise Control, Speed Limiter, as well as automatic dusk and rain sensors.

In terms of body design, the car features a chrome-played Mirror badge on its B-pillar. It also gets an exclusive Italia blue body paint option. On the other hand, there are a handful of color options including Gelato White, Carrara Grey, Vesuvio Black and Passione Red.

Under the hood, the Fiat 500 Mirror has a handful of options. According to Car Scoops, it can be kitted with a 1.2-liter or 0.9-lliter four-cylinder gas engines each producing 69 horsepower and 85 horsepower, respectively. There is also a 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel engine option with 95 horsepower. The car is expected to hit select European markets within the first few weeks of April. It is still unconfirmed whether the car will make its way into the North American market.
