2019 Mercedes GLE Class: The New Basis Of Upcoming GLE Models

Mercedes-Benz is suiting up for the creation of the 2019 Mercedes GLE Class. It is considered as the new generation first model car that will be the basis of GLE upcoming models.

This upcoming Mercedes car is the fourth-generation Mercedes-Benz SUV. It is originally called M-Class but was renamed to GLE in 2016.

The 2019 Mercedes GLE Class is better than GLA and GLC cars. Even though, the HLS and G-wagen seemed to be better than the upcoming new model.

The car is more different than its predecessors as its grille sports a new look. It has a wider bottom than the top. The car has a tall roofline and horizontal taillights that are positioned on the rear end and liftgate.

It also has a better interior than its predecessors, the upcoming car comes with broad TFT screens. The upcoming Mercedes car has four central air vents that can be found on the instrumental panel.

The new car also comes with a cabin that is reminiscent of the E-Class. It also has a dashboard feature that has a dual-screen design and a center console that has a smartphone-like screen that is the main controller for the COMAND infotainment system.

Mercedes decided to create a new GLE line up because they needed a more modernized luxury-SUV car. The 2019 Mercedes GLE Class is expected to have a more advanced infotainment, telematics and driver assistance systems.

The new Mercedes car comes with next-generation inline-4 and inline 6. Aside from that, the car has a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V-8 reserved engine.

The car comes with diesel and plug-in hybrid option. Even though, Mercedes might not include diesel option in their US market because of the Volkswagen Diesel Emission Scandal. It also has a 9-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that is a standard on SUV models.

This car can actually compete with other top-notch brands like Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Porshe and Volvo. The 2019 Mercedes GLE will reportedly be available in late 2018 and will probably be close to the current price of GLE models.
