Massive Sale of the Red Iphone 7 and 7 Plus; Aims to Raise Awareness on HIV/AIDs Programs

Apple has officially released the Red edition for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus last March 24, 2017, and is now available through online channels and retail stores in over 40 countries and region. Orders were started to pour at 8:01 in the morning of March 24, Pacific time.

This sale is made to recognize Apple and RED's partnership for more than 10 years already. It is a known fact tat the Apple company has been the Global Fund's biggest contributor. The Global Fund support numerous programs including the HIV/AID programs.

The special iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Red Edition has been launched as an attempt to raise people's awareness about HIV/AIDS. Apple committed that every purchase of the units will go as a contribution to Global Fund for HIV/AIDS programs.

This special edition of iPhone Red is only available in two options, 128GB and 256GB. The iPhone 7 Red Edition is available for the price of $ 750, while iPhone 7 Plus Red Edition starts at $ 870. According to Gsmarena article, the Special iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Red Edition will go on sale in Europe too. In Germany, the iPhone 7 Plus Red Edition will be available for the price of €870 while iPhone 7 Plus Red Edition will be for €1,010. In Britain, the iPhone 7 Plus Red Edition will be in the hands of the Brits for the price of £700 while iPhone 7 Plus Red Edition is for £820.

Due to a massive online purchase of the product, Apple reported that the Apple Store went down. The Apple Store had to set an auto greet with a "we'll be back" message in a variety of different languages. This is because the Special iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Red Edition were launches globally at the same hour -3:01 pm GMT. The messages in each language list were sent in the local time of each respected country. The launch of the Special iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Red Edition was for a different cause too.

Apple also launches the iPhone SE with extra storage and Apple iPad 9.7 with a faster A9 chip. The variant comes with the lower priced iPad at a cost of $329 and is also available on the Apple store online.
