2017 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid – One Of The Best Hybrid Car On The Market

Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid offers impressive safety, exceptional efficiency, and seamless connectivity. The engineers at Chevrolet have thought of everything the driver expects and more.

Consumer Reports had a chance to test drive the new Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid, and it seems that the hybrid managed an impressive 49 mpg on the hybrid. That particular model is equipped with a 1.8-liter hybrid turbo-charged engine which is in the middle of the pack. The Malibu Hybrid has an immediate electric torque and slightly quicker acceleration than the conventional Malibu model. On top of that, the Hybrid is more balanced when cornering on the track, most likely due to the weight of the hybrid battery that lies in the back of the car.

On the inside, the car comes with an infotainment system that is really easy to use whether via touch-screen or steer-wheel controls. The system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car is also packed with automatic climate control and an electronic parking brake as standard. There is a $2,140 optional package that includes leather seats instead of cloth ones and adds a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring-safety feature. There are some drawbacks in the interior, however. For instance, the rearward visibility is lower, and there is awkward cabin accessibility. Pricing of the Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid starts at $28,750.

As reported by Cnet, Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid is one of the best hybrid cars on the market. The vehicle offers exceptional drive and many safety features in other midsize hybrids. However, some of the competitors are the 2016 Toyota Prius that is the most fuel efficient car without a plug. On top of that, its cabin is more spacious and comfortable equipped with smart tech.

BMW 330e is another car that gives an electric driving, with its associated efficiency. Toyota Camry Hybrid was an excellent midsize sedan for 2016, but it needs a generational update to stay competitive. These are just some of the best Hybrid cars out there, stay tuned for further reviews and comparisons.
