"Call of Duty" has a big batch of faithful followers. As of now, the fans of the game are waiting for the release of the new title. At this juncture, there is news that is doing the rounds that the next big "Call of Duty" title will be called the "Call of Duty: WW2."

The talk about the title started after some promotional artwork and case images that have leaked on Reddit. Sledgehammer has not spoken about the same yet. The leaked images by the Reddit user, is however, taken seriously.

What is interesting is that the leaked images resemble those from Saving Private Ryan. This is Steven Spielberg's iconic World War 2 film. However, a direct comparison between the game and the motion picture is not available, reported Gaming Bolt.

There is no confirmation of the new name of the title even now after the leak. It is stated about the leak that the sub-Reddit mod reveals that it's still being verified. Earlier news regarding the title, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was also revealed in this fashion. Most of the information turned out to be true later on, reported Polygon.

The previous few titles of "Call of Duty" have been treading on new path especially with regard to the combat style in the game. It is reported, as of now, that the new title from Sledgehammer will feature more traditional combat. This will be nostalgic and refreshing as it will deviate from the previous titles but will also retain the core nature of the game.

Fans of the game are eager to know more about "Call of Duty: WW2." The game usually launches in November and the name is revealed during late April or early May. It is reported that the new game is being made and will feature a page or two from the World War II scenario.
