Kia Stonic: New Kia Car Spotted Having A Test Drive

Crossover cars are "in" in the market right now. Therefore, car companies like Kia has created its own crossover car called Kia Stonic that was recently spotted having a test drive.

The Kia Stonic is meant to rival other cars like Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, Fiat 500X and Ford EcoSport. The car comes with a LED daytime running lights that can easily be spotted. However, its headlight details were hidden.

According to Auto Industry News, the car has air intakes on its bumper. Based on the current design trend, it is expected that the car will have a "Tiger Nose" grille.

The car also comes with a window line that is slightly curved upwards. A part of the fender is shown but not too much of it, making it impossible to see the details.

It has a similar roofline as the hybrid Niro that has slopes downwards to the rear tailgate. When the car was spotted it is heavily covered in the rear section but this might mean that Kia Stonic will have a unique design.

As for Carscoops, the car's wheels remind them of Nissan Qashqai because of a flared design that can be found on the cars pillar. Aside from that, its tailgate reminded them of one of the new a Kia Rio.

However, it is still uncertain if the car will feature an all-wheel-drive car or not. Nevertheless, it is certain that the Kia Stonic will have a four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The car will also have an up to date safety system and connectivity features.

Most car enthusiasts believe that the car will have the same price as a Renault Captur and Fiat 500X. It is also expected to be less than $18,705 upon its release.

Kia Stonic will be part of the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Before the motor show, it will be shown in LA in the U.S. in the fall.
