BMW M760Li Review: Powerful and Elegant

The BMW M760Li xDrive sedan is looking to be quite the high performer. It is said to be the fastest of all production vehicles from the German car manufacturer and not just the 7 Series lineup.

The BMW M760Li xDrive sedan. The M760Li xDrive is the latest in the M Performance line of vehicles. Its wheelbase is almost like that of limousine with a length of 5238 millimeters. It weighs roughly 2,180 kilograms.

The vehicle sports about every possible feature that the German car manufacturer can put in such as an active rear-wheel steer function and a four-wheel drive option. It features a standard M aerodynamic styling package with new bumpers and a grille in matte gray finish along with 20-inch wheels. Other features include M Sport brakes with blue calipers, an M Sport exhaust with four chromed tail pipes, and a distinctive V12 badge within each of its C-pillars.

The M760Li xDrive's speed can be attributed to the N74, a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 direct injection petrol engine. It is able to deliver 601bhp at 5,500 revolutions per minute. It produces 590 pound-feet of torque at 1,550 revolutions per minute. The engine is mated to a specially tuned eight-speed automatic gearbox along with software developed in-house for altered shift points rapid shift times when in Sport mode.

BMW claims that it can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds despite its heavy weight of 2,180 kilograms. This makes the BMW M760Li xDrive faster than quick M5 Competition by 0.2 seconds.

It gives off the impression of an impressively refined limousine-like vehicle that's endlessly powerful. It is very agile for a car of its size and features a lot of comfort. It sports a high-quality interior that one would expect from a luxury car and its cabin is exceptionally comfortable. It sports both digital and analog features that make using the vehicle fairly easy to use.

Its powerful engine is surprisingly quiet and works very well with the automatic gearbox. However, the vehicle transforms into something more aggressive, vocal, and more responsive, especially when on Sport drive mode.
