2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Better Than The Jeep Wrangler; Ready To Bring Excitement Back!

The Toyota Land Cruiser has reported to have lost its mojo as various reports suggested. However, the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser may change all that and bring the excitement back to Toyota's three-row SUV.

Toyota is the biggest and leading car manufacturer in the entire world and has developed the latest Land Cruiser to satisfy the most discerning of buyers and critics alike this time around. Reports even said that the Land Cruiser outperformed the Jeep Wrangler in series of off-roading tests.

According to Motor Trend, the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser remains powerful as it still offers 5.7-liter V-8 which is capable of producing 381-horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Reports say that many consider the smaller and more affordable Sequoia over the Land Cruiser. Well, this is definitely original and there's no substitute for it.

Since this SUV is designed to also perform in intense off-roading, it is even made safer with 10 airbags. Tough terrain invites untoward incidents such as accidents so the driver and front passenger airbags are necessary. Not only that but it also has second-row outboard seat-mounted airbags, driver and front-passenger knee bags and roll-sensing side curtain airbags with a cutoff switch.

Included in the safety standard features are vehicle stability control, active traction control, multi-terrain anti-lock braking system, and Toyota Safety Connect. The Toyota Safety Connect includes emergency assistance, stolen vehicle location, roadside assistance, and automatic collision notification. Even better is that this service is complimentary for the first year.

Another very interesting fact is that the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser finished first after being compared with Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and Mercedes-Benz G550. It was discovered that the Land Cruiser is most well rounded among the three. If the 2016 outperformed the two big names in off-roading, it is highly likely that the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser does the same or even better.

As added by The Car Connection, the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser finished with a rating of 6.4 out of possible 10 points. Note that Safety rating has yet to be included in the category. It got the highest of 8 points in terms of its Comfort and Quality. It is easy to understand how the Land Cruiser got the highest rating because of its interior.

Both front and rear passengers are treated with comfortable and spacious seats perfect for long distance driving. Outboard rear passengers are even treated with their own screen. The middle seat also has a comfortable 40/20/40 split. However, some are not fans of its interior materials, pointing it to the Land Cruiser's price point. With this said, many still don't mind as comfort is more important than materials used.

The 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser boasts of impressive off-roading capabilities for its 18s because of larger sidewalls necessary for the said purpose. It also includes strong and sturdy front and rear hooks and the running boards are easy to remove. It also is equipped with a suspension system which combines sway bars with a hydraulic system that automatically disconnects from off-road articulation.

There is definitely more to the Land Cruiser than meets the eye. This may even be a good option for someone who wants to have Jeep Wrangler experience without driving a Wrangler.
