2017 Volkswagen Golf: Base Models Revealed; Driving To Become More Fun

The 2017 Volkswagen Golf is truly inspiring to make someone drive. It has an engine that adds more style and power to the vehicle.

The 2017 Volkswagen Golf has a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The powertrain is a thing of beauty and adds more character to the vehicle. With a slight increase in price, the customer and opt for the GTI or the VR6-powered R32. This will ensure that more power is delivered.

The entry-level 110TSI hatch will be available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed 'DSG' dual-clutch automatic transmission. The vehicle will have a leather steering wheel. At the same time, the 110TSI Trendline will be available with manual or DSG for hatches. The DSG will be available only for wagons. The car will have automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rearview mirror, front and rear parking sensors, and front seat lumbar adjustment.

To make things even better, the 110TSI Comfortline arrives. This has no manual gearbox in a hatch or wagon body styles. However, it increases spec levels with dual-zone climate control, external and internal chrome highlights, an 8.0-inch multimedia system with navigation, 17-inch alloy wheels and a 12-volt outlet in the luggage compartment, reported Drive.

The new gen Golf has a new 1.8T engine and it is part of the EA888 family of four-cylinders. The torque that is delivered is up to 199 lb-ft. peak torque is available from 1,600 to 4,400 rpm. Also, the new model feels lighter and is definitely sportier.

The 2017 Volkswagen Golf is fun and it also gets far better fuel economy. It is reported that it will be 25 in the city and 35 in the highway. A fully loaded 2017 Golf Wolfsburg will be available at $23,515.
