Mercedes S-Class: The Most Advanced Mercedes Car In The Market

One of the top notch cars in the market, Mercedes announced that it will be releasing a new look for its Mercedes S-Class. Hence, creating the most technologically advanced car from the company.

So far, the company has not revealed that much information regarding the car. Nevertheless, they assured the public that the new look of the car will support the driver better than most cars.

According to Motor1, E-Class' safety and assistance systems will be included in Mercedes S-Class. Aside from that, they will have new functional systems including semi-autonomous features.

However, Dr. Michael Hafner, Mercedes Automated Driving and Active Safety Head, explained that there are some legislative problems regarding the semi-autonomous features before the company could officially offer it. This is similar to what Audi is experiencing with its Audi A8 car.

Aside from this, the car will reportedly have a better exterior with modified bumpers, headlights and taillights. There are also some modifications on Mercedes S-Class cabin, which is more lavish than expected.

As for its engine, the car is powered by a new inline-six petrol engine with a 48V electrical system. This allows the modified Mercedes car to have better fuel consumption without sacrificing its performance.

The car company assured the public that it will have the same performance as an engine with an eight-cylinder unit. The car also comes with a four and six cylinder turbodiesel, reported Car Scoops.

The Mercedes S-Class comes with a Remote Parking Pilot and Active Break Assist System. This feature allows scanning on other car lanes, allowing early brakes initiations in the case of evasive car maneuvers.

Other than what is aforementioned, there are a lot of safety features that the car has. There is the Active Distance Assist that has an Active Limit Assist, according to an automotive news site.

The car also comes with Evasive Steering Assists and Active Lane Keeping Assists. The Mercedes S-Class's new look will be launched in April of this year.
