BLU Launches US$180 Life One X2 Smartphone

American smartphone manufacturer BLU Products has always been known to come up with decent mobile devices at affordable prices. Its new BLU Life One X2 is not different, packing impressive features for a price of less than US$200.

BLU Products launches feature-packed and affordable Life One X2. A quick glance will tell that the Life One X2 smartphone looks similar to any of the smartphones from Samsung. One can attribute that to the fingerprint scanner just below the smartphone's display. However, unlike Samsung's smartphones the Life One X2 is a mobile device that comes packed with features that is more than what it is worth.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch display touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The display is wrapped in Gorilla Glass 3 which gives it protection from scratches. It is housed in an aluminum casing that is 8.7mm thick.

It has 4 gigabytes of RAM and an internal storage of 64 gigabytes. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

The BLU Life One X2 features a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF rear camera which has the same type of sensor also used in the LG G6. Video recording is 1080p at 30 frames per second. Its front camera, on the other hand, is an 8-megapixel unit with a LED flash.

The device supports most United States carriers including T-Mobile's band 12 and AT&T's band 17. It does, however, lack Wi-Fi as standard support.

BLU Product's newest smartphone will run on Google's Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box. For a smartphone that will ship out this year, customers are baffled why it actually runs on an Android OS version from 2015.

The BLU Life One X2 is already for sale on Amazon for the price of US$179.99. It comes in grey, gold, and rose gold colors.
