LG G6 vs. Samsung Galaxy S8: Battle Of The Korean Giants Ensues, Which Android Device is Better?

LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 are two of the most awaited Android devices to be soon released. Following the success of its predecessors, both devices are set to be the toughest competitors in the Android device arena. Packed with impressive features, which among the two will outdo the other?

Based on some insider reports and leaks from reliable sources, some details of both Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 are out enough for industry experts to make detailed comparison. According to Trusted Review, the LG G6 is believed to come with metal unibody design. This makes the device look sleeker and more stylish. Even more impressive, this build will make the device waterproof.

LG's device will also have no camera bump which adds to a more streamlined look. The device's metal rim brings forth rigidity and much-needed sturdiness. There will also be three color options like Black, White, and Platinum. While LG has details out regarding its upcoming flagship device, Samsung has remained very secretive of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

However, leaks from reliable sources suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is will lose its home button to utilize the display more. LG is reported to come up with this advancement first and Samsung is expected to do the same thing. At this point, there is also news that the S8 will have its fingerprint scanner on the back instead of the usual front (something which may take a lot of getting used to).

LG G6 will also have a revolutionized larger screen called "Full Vision" coming in for having 5.7-inch display. Samsung Galaxy S8 may have the same display size, however, there are reports that it will be 5.5-inches but with significantly less bezels for ultimate display maximization.

As added by Value Walk, the S8 is expected to be unveiled at a special event in New York on March 29, 2017. This event is necessary for Samsung to send a strong message after the disastrous scandal involving the Note 7 late last year. There are also reports suggesting that Samsung will also take the release date of LG G6.

End of the day, the battle of the Koreans ensues. This battle is definitely far from over, especially that more official news on both Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 will be available for everyone's reference. At this point, it is either device's game as both are set to bring tough competition to each other.
