'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' Pre-Orders on PSN Were Refunded, No Plans Yet for Nintendo Switch

'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' is the Coon and Friends upcoming role-playing game. It has already seen a lot of delays and the latest news could indicate further delay.

In a report by Game Zone, several PSN users have reported that their pre-orders for the upcoming RPG have been refunded in full. Originally detailed on a post from Reddit, several users even stated that they were not even notified via e-mail about the refund.

Apparently, this is PSN's normal procedure when a pre-order's release date is changed to "TBD date." Moreover, the pre-orders did come with the first game, 'South Park: The Stick of Truth," for free. However, it is now locked and inaccessible for the time being.

No official release date was given for the game. Ubisoft just gave a vague release period and said that the game will come before April 2018. Hopefully, the game won't be delayed for a third time.

Fans should not be worried. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone love their video games. They probably want to ensure that 'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' lives up to its predecessor and everyone's expectations.

In other related news, a recent report by IGN revealed that the upcoming adventure of the Coon and Friends will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch. This is according to a South Park studio representative.

Apparently, this speculation arose on Reddit and NeoGAF when the South Park Twitter account showed a GIF of Cartman with the caption "Nin-ten-do. I'm coming. I'm coming, Nin-ten-do #blizzard2017." This was supposedly just a reference to a 2006 South Park season 10 storyline and nothing more. However, this does not mean that the game will not find its way to the Nintendo Switch in the future.

'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' will hopefully be released soon. In the meantime, fans can wait for the upcoming Season 21 of the series. It will air sometime in September 2017. Hopefully, 'The Fractured But Whole' will come before that!
