Luca Cordero di Montezemolo was the president of Ferrari from 2004 to 2014, the time when Michael Schumacher's racing career was at its peak. Apparently, the ex-boss has been very instrumental in the F1 champion's career.

Michael Schumacher has a very good relationship with Luca Cordero di Montezemolo. In an interview with Corriere Dello Sport newspaper, the ex-Ferrari boss shared that he and the F1 champion were "very connected" for the span of 11 years that the latter was still active with the Ferrari team.

Luca Cordero di Montezemolo's statement seems to suggest that he is very positive with the return of the champion racer. Claiming that he knows the strength of Michael Schumacher and confessing his dream of having the latter to join them again sounded like the champion racer's health has greatly progressed.

Moreover, the former boss' statement including the time frame "soon" seems to hint very positive report. It sounds like Michael Schumacher is recuperating very well now and there is a possibility for him to be back "soon."

The ex-Ferrari boss further revealed that he always wear the watch given to him by Michael Schumacher. As he usually wears the precious gift, he also usually remembers the F1 champion, DailyStar reported.
