Toyota 86 Special Edition; Boasts Of Back-to-basics Design, Body Styles, Trim Levels, Safety Bring Excellent Driving Impressions

Toyota is aiming to showcase its sporty 86 coupe with the Toyota 860 Special Edition. The limited-production model owns 860 units. Toyota 86 will be accessible in Halo White and Supernova Orange, both with black body stripes, impressive mirrors and spoiler.

The 2017 Toyota 86 will be engaged in sporty technical specs that deliver an easy-to-drive nature and sharp handling technology. It will come with supportive front seats that are designed for long drives. The standard features list is worthy for the price because precise steering makes the Toyota 86 Special Edition fun to drive.

Toyota revealed that the supercar is formerly known as the Scion FR-S. Thus, the Japanese automotive manufacturer eliminated the Scion sub-brand and enhanced it to FR-S/86. Toyota unveils that 2017 86 Special Edition comes with several minor updates including revised manual transmission gearing and suspension tuning. It also features a slight increase in power, and restyled front and rear fascias, as per Auto Week.

The 2017 Toyota 86 boasts of a back-to-basics design with a light curb weight and a new ear-wheel-drive layout. The special edition coupe features four-cylinder engine to deliver a little more horsepower and torque for improved handling and better ride quality, which is similar to 2017 Ford Mustang, Volkswagen GTI, 2017 Chevrolet Camaro, or Ford Focus ST.

According to Motor Authority, the body styles, trim levels, and safety options provides a perfect driving impressions. The upcoming Toyota 86 sports coupe will come standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and taillights, a limited-slip rear differential, a height-adjustable driver seat, and excellent air-conditioning.

The upcoming Toyota Special Edition has several improvements with the leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. It also comes with enhanced cruise control and a rearview camera that monitors the coupe real time.

The special-edition 86 coupe will sticker for $30,040 with a manual transmission and audio connectivity. It also features an eight-speaker sound system with a 7-inch touchscreen and an auxiliary audio jack with USB interface. The 2017 Toyota 86 include optional items such as heated seats and upgraded upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless ignition.
