Mass Effect: Andromeda is the latest Bioware game in the Mass Effect franchise. The game begins in the Milky Way: Galaxy during the 22nd century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy.

According to Kotaku, Bioware has made some really good improvements to their latest Mass Effect game. Right off the bat, the character creation is updated and the character you make there is very well translated in the actual game. The new dialogue system is better as well. There are plenty of new responses that don’t feel right, wrong, paragon, or renegade. You can pick a response that feels right to you. The voice acting is more natural as well.

On the other side, the combat of the game is much more intense thanks to the added mobility of the character. You are capable of running, dashing, and getting in the enemy’s face with ease. There is also an option to mix and match abilities, regardless of what specialization you pick.

There are some drawbacks too. The number of systems and choices are overwhelming, and the game throws you right into the thick of it. It seems that Bioware has hit the throttle in both RPG and action styled game. There’s plenty of resource management in the game that requires a lot of time.

There are plenty of side quests as well. Even in the tutorial mission, there are several optional side quests that the player can pursue. Every mission will most likely have a critical path, but the player can choose to stray away from it and explore more of the planet. There are so many choices that the game feels more on the scale of Dragon Age Inquisition. The environmental details are improved as well. There’s plenty of floating debris, cool lights that are lining the fancy new technology you encounter.
So far, it seems that Bioware has left no stone unturned.

As reported by Gamespot, some gamers can already start preloading Mass Effect: Andromeda on their machines. But they can’t play it yet. Its launch is on March 21st, but if you are an EA Access Subscriber, you will be able to play a few hours starting on March 16th.
