The launch of Season 10 will bring with an opportunity for players to receive the gold which is the in-game currency, brand new gear, and Paragon levels. Players are only able to get Paragon levels attaining in-game content and dungeons after their character has achieved its maximum character level.

The new season will give players the opportunity to start with a clean slate as well as create seasonal heroes. Season 10 will also be the debut of seasons for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 gaming consoles.

There have been claims that Blizzard Entertainment could release a 2.5.0 patch update together with Season 10. Speculations are also saying that a new expansion for the game, dubbed Diablo 3: Necromancer, will come sometime this year. However, these should be taken with a grain of salt as Blizzard Entertainment has provided an official announcement on these to date.
