2017 Honda NeuV Concept: Japan's New Electric Urban Vehicle

Honda is a known Japanese automobile manufacturer. It is the world's largest producer of motorcycle since the year 1959. And now, Honda introduced their brand new 2017 Honda NeuV Concept.

Honda unveiled the car last January 5, 2017, at a press conference at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. The 2017 Honda NeuV Concept is a pure-electric concept car with a unique ownership proposition.

It comes with an emotion engine called HANA which stands for Honda Automated Network Assistant. The Cocoro SB Corporation is the one behind the development of HANA.

NueV stands for New Electric Urban Vehicle. It is part of the Honda's Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem theme at the Consumer Electronics Show. It highlights the company's goal of reducing traffic congestion to creating new modes of in-car connectivity.

A full touch-panel interface enables both the driver and the passenger to access into the NeuV's simple and convenient user experience. The car has a panoramic windscreen and a sloping belt line which makes driving simple and easy. The entry and exit from the vehicle were also made easy such as when the vehicle is parked on tight spaces. It is because of its side panel that opens out and then backward that creates a large opening.

The 2017 Honda NeuV Concept has two seats with a luggage space behind. It is also where the Kick 'n Go electric scooter concept is stored which is designed for last mile transit. Honda indicates an affordable electric mobile.

The scooter concept was adopted from the original scooter of Honda that way back in the year 1970's. The new design won't be powered by a chain mechanism but rather a detachable battery. It can be recharged through a connection on the 2017 Honda NeuV Concept's luggage space. Honda's plan is to develop electrified and efficient power solutions for all of its product areas which also include their motorcycles and power tools.
