All-Electric Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e: New Concept Car To Challenge Tesla?

The Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e is considered to be one of the most interesting concept cars from the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show. This is a better version of its predecessor, the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 which was released 2 years ago. What makes this concept car interesting is the "e" after the 6, which signifies that it will be an all-electric version of the two-seater sports car.

Bentley truly amazed the crowd with the release of the Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e. The car company once again vows to wow the crowd with this car with its exclusivity and luxury.

Wired article mentioned that Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e has a "high-performance" electric powertrain, which has a potential travel range of up to 310 miles. The car also has a very fast inductive charging and "state-of-the-art, on-board concierge-style services" push button or touch screen activation.

The interior cabin has a very futuristic look with high-quality materials like premium quality leather, copper trims and a high-definition OLED display infotainment system that gives passengers access to social media, email, and entertainment. The cut-glass sections of the steering wheel are handmade and contain control for media, communications, navigations and car set-up. There is also a button on the steering wheel with a whimsical "rocket" illustration that gives instant boosts performance on the car.

"The EXP 12 Speed 6e is a concept to show that Bentley is defining electric motoring in the luxury sector, with the appropriate technology, high-quality materials and refinement levels you'd expect from a true Bentley," Chairman and chief executive officer of Bentley Motors Wolfgang Dürheimer said.

He also added that the company is committed to including some electric cars in its future portfolio, which is why they are hoping they can hear more feedbacks regarding the Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e concept, reported Auto X.
