CONFIRMED: GTA 5 Online To Get Its First Update Of The Year Next Week!

Initial reports on a GTA 5 Online update for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC said that it would be released most likely in the middle of this month. New reports have confirmed that the update will push through with the developer even giving fans a date to look forward to.

GTA Online update release date confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The online mode of the fifth installment in the famous Grand Theft Auto franchise will receive its long-awaited update this coming Tuesday, March 14, 2017. The update is the first lined up for the year and will bring to players new content and features. Rockstar Games had teased the updates to excited fans and was initially reported to have not release date yet.

The GTA 5 online update will bring a new Special Vehicle races DLC that is customized for specific vehicles. Each vehicle requires a set of skills and tactics to win. Game developer Rockstar Games will also be giving a new batch of GTA Online discounts and bonuses.

20 new Stunt Races will be available specific to the Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2000, and Blazer Aqua. The new races from the update are collectively called Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit.

Along with the announcement of the update's release date, Rockstar Games also confirmed Legendary Motorsport adding the Progen GP1 to its roster of supercars. Earlier this month, the American game developer confirmed the addition of new vehicles in anticipation of major summer releases it has planned. It has also been said that cars featured in past installments of the game will be making their way to Grand Theft Auto 5.

Leading up to the update's March 14 release will be new races and cars to buy as well as GTA 5 Online bonuses players can take advantage off. This will start on the weekend until Monday, March 13, 2017.
