2018 Ford Fiesta ST News, Updates: Seventh-generation Sedan With Enhanced Engine System, Set To Rock The World This July

The new Ford Fiesta ST debuts at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, which Ford US manufacturer reveals that the Fiesta ST is expected to be a best-seller supercar. The seventh-generation Ford Fiesta ST highlights a better engine and great infotainment.

According to Auto Express, the 2018 Ford Fiesta ST has an enhanced all-new engine configuration. The 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo powers the Fiesta with a lightweight and aluminum 1.5-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost turbo. Its engine provides 197 bhp, which its standard output is 17 bhp. Ford claims 14 g/km of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions compared to its predecessors.

The Fiesta ST will be as quick as the Fiesta ST200. It offers a 240 Nm to 290 Nm of torque, which can accelerate 0-62 mph in 6.7 seconds to its top speed of roughly 140 mph. The coupe comes with Drive Modes, which adjust the engine, stability controls, and even exhaust sound, and steering.

The Ford supercar also highlights its enhanced Electronic Sound Enhancement and an active exhaust valve setup. It offers three modes, includes Sport, Track, and Normal. The modes will be accompanied by a cylinder deactivation system for efficiency, as noted by Auto Car.

The 2018 Ford Fiesta ST features an advanced technology and styling packs, which includes SYNC 3 connection and an 8-inch touchscreen that can be accessible via B&O Play high-end audio system. The supercar will come with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Fiesta St sets greater personalization options at the budget end of motoring, which provides a high gear lever and steering wheel. It also comes with elegance and luxury, which offers various trim options for its exterior styling and colors selections.

The 2018 Ford Fiesta ST is set to be the bestselling car roughly competitive with competitive with its supermini rivals. The three and five-door Sportback prices have yet to be confirmed, but the supercar is set to run this summer and deliveries will be this July.
