Audi RS3 News, Updates; 'Birth' Coupe From R8; Supercar With Powerful Accelerating Record

The Audi RS3 "Birth" Sportback shares an excellent part with an Audi R8. The R3 is a supercar with the lithe body and great specs. The supercar was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The Audi RS3 offers more control and torque over its predecessor. It also gains a new designed last September at Paris Motor Show. The German automaker revealed that RS3 runs the most powerful production five-cylinder coupe in the world.

The new supercar promises better performance, which provides accelerating record from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds. It also set 174 mph at its top speed. According to Auto Express, 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine powers the RS3, which producing a 395 bhp and 480 Nm of torque.

The new engine of the "Birth" Sportback is 26 kg lighter than the Audi R8, which the aluminum crankcase gives the coupe a weight-saving concept. Audi said that RS3 claims 34 mpg with excellent exhaust emissions scored at 189 g/km carbon dioxide. The engine also is 57 pounds lighter than its previous predecessor.

The 395 bhp power of Audi RS3 highlights like the new A-Class Sportback by 19 bhp than Mercedes-AMG A 45. The even-speed dual-clutch gearbox gives the sedan a power via its wheels with better Quattro all-wheel-drive system and excellent variable torque distribution, as noted by Kelley Blue Book.

The latest coupe features Quattro all-wheel drive and S Tronic 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It also provides a better electro-hydraulic multi-plate clutch, which offers more power to the rear axle under heavy loads.

The RS3 offers an aggressive looking front apron with larger vents and a large black honeycomb grille. It owns a small roof spoiler and diffuser, which is located near the rear. It also contains two large oval shaped exhaust exits near its rear bumper. The Audi RS3 comes with three modes for selection for a better suspension and engine response. These modes are the comfort, auto and dynamic.
