Clash Royale March 2017: March 2 Update Moved? Team Battle Feature Yet To Come

Celebrated mobile strategy video game Clash Royale will be turning one year old this month. Speculations said that the game would be celebrating its one year anniversary by releasing the anticipated Team Battle feature but it never did.

Clash Royale March 2017 treats players to two special events. Fans of the mobile strategy video game were expecting the much awaited Team Battle feature to debut via an update last March 2. Unfortunately, it never happened. Players were instead treated to two special in-game events namely the Classic Draft Challenge and the Grand Draft Challenge from March 2 to March 6. The former allowed players to enter for free the first time and requiring 10 gems for succeeding entries. The Latter on the other hand cost player 100 gems to enter.

There really aren't any details on when the Team Battle feature will come to the game. It was initially thought to come on March 2, the game's one-year anniversary date. Now, it is unclear when it really will arrive.

The Team Battle feature was thought to have been leaked earlier this month through a photo on the game's forums. The photo allegedly came from one of the game developer staff which showed a portion of a button. Now that March 2 has passed, no one is for sure what that photo was meant for.

Aside from the two special in-game events, a tweet was posted thanking players for their support. The tweet came with a video of a cake being blown up. Could this be the Clash Royale March 2017 teaser?

Since the March 2 Clash Royale update did not go through as initially planned, Supercell will instead be releasing a few "cool things" all throughout the month of March to celebrate the game's anniversary. This is according to one staff named Tim on the forums.

There was no mentioned what day the Clash Royale March 2017 update has been moved to and if it will include the Team Battle feature. Players should expect more special events as the month progresses.
