2018 Ford Expedition: The Best SUV To Come

When it comes to SUVs, the multinational automaker, Ford, is one of the tops on the list. Their four-door successor of their two door bronco has evolved through the years. At this point, the company is preparing their 2018 Ford Expedition.

The company's highlight on their new Expedition model is its size. It is now slightly bigger than the current one but is lighter over 300 pounds due to its bodywork made out of aluminum.

Since it is a new Expedition, a new technology is also expected. It comes with an Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a sync three user interface. While in the middle of the road, passengers can charge their devices since all of the three rows seats has a four 12 Volts charging outlets. It also comes with six plugs of USB and an outlet with 110 volts.

The 2018 Ford Expedition is also equipped with their first wireless charging pad that they've placed in the center of the front console. In addition, there is also a rear seat entertainment with a dual headrest screens along with an audio system of 12 speakers.

This model is now capable of Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect ten devices as well as sync connect. It allows the owners to start remotely, access the car's information of diagnostic with a smartphone and lock and unlock.

As for the trim, there are three available levels. The base XLT, Limited and Platinum are the levels to choose from. Platinum comes with more of the luxurious features just like its leather stitch which is diamond stitched with wood accents.

Under the hood of the 2018 Ford Expedition comes with an upgraded EcoBoost 3.5 liter V6 engine that provides more of its horsepower capabilities. With its new 10-speed transmission, it is expected to deliver an improved mileage.

The rear-wheel drive is said to stay as standard and a four-wheel drive is available for an upgrade choice. In addition, the model also has a towing capability that is best in class.
