The gallery improvements include a new photo editor with watermark and photo-aligning options and newly added media that will emphasize in the Photos section. In addition, it will also bring an image location on grid view, a media grouper, and folders and individual media can now also be hidden.

In another report by XDA Developers, the website noted that the Android 7.1.1 OxygenOS update is not even a major upgrade. Still, it brings several much-needed enhancements. Apart from the gallery improvements, the OxygenOS update brings improved touch latency, app shortcuts in the launcher, and keyboard GIF insertion. According to the report, the improved touch latency makes a marked difference and is worth getting excited over.
