Honda WR-V; 'Sporty Lifestyle Vehicle,' Combination Of A SUV And Crossover

Honda features a new "Sporty Lifestyle Vehicle," which named as Honda WR-V. It is a combination of a crossover and an SUV.  Honda Car revealed that WR-V would be released on March 16, which the Japanese automaker aims to sell more than 100,000 units.

The Honda WR-V is a sub-4 meters SUV, which based on Honda Jazz platform and Honda City concept. The most anticipated SUV has body panels and cabin from the Jazz. Honda aims to create a different compact SUV with enhanced segment, and the Japanese automaker is expecting some good sales in the next fiscal year.

The new compact SUV is equipped with 1.2 L petrol and a 1.5 L diesel engine, which both can be connected to five-manual gearboxes. The sedan is powered by a new Honda WR-V Petrol with an i-VTEC engine that provides 6000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque.

The compact SUV can also be powered by 1.5-liter i-DTEC motor that delivers 100 PS at 3600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque. The Honda WR-V offers a high fuel efficiency figure of 17.5 kph, as noted by Motoroids.

The WR-V comes with a McPherson front and torsion beam rear suspension, which has been optimized to offer comfort and excellent driving experience. It also highlights an electronic steering system, which provides light speed at city mode, but offers up an incredible increase in velocity. The compact SUV comes with 16-inch wheels with a wide of 195 section rubber, as per Auto NDTV.

The Honda WR-V offers an excellent design, which features body cladding for a better and bigger look. It also comes with standard LED daylight running lights (DRLs). The City SUV will have a different style for its tailgate and bumper.

The SUV gets horizontal and silver highlights, which ensures perfect projection of width. It also features an Eco-Assist indicator that changes color according to the driving style. The WR-V comes with a 17.7 cm touchscreen, which is compatible with Android devices and it can be connected with a "Satellite" Navigation system.
