2017 Bentley Continental Supersports Speeding Its Way To Geneva, The Fastest And Most Powerful Car Bentley Ever Made

The Anglo-German automaker, Bentley, is already set to unveil their latest and most powerful continental, the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports at the Geneva Motor Show. Bentley claims that it's the fastest and most powerful four-seat luxury car ever, backing those with a lot of horsepower and torque.

The 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports features a 6.0-liter W-12 engine that's equipped with a pair of turbochargers that produces 700 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is around 209 mph for the coupe model and 205 for the drop top.

16.5-inch carbon-ceramic brakes give braking power up front and 14-inch units at the back. According to the automaker, it's the largest of their type in the world.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, quoted: "The Supersports name is legendary at Bentley. "From the very first Supersports of the 1920s to the Continental Supersports of 2009 -- and now, with the third iteration of this iconic model -- it is a name which excites impassions and thrills."

Both the coupe and convertible version will get a new front and rear bumpers designs with a carbon-fiber splitter and diffuser. The convertible version is said to offer neck warmers for top-down monitoring during cold outings.

On the inside, the Supersports gets a unique checker-pattern carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, and Supersports logos stitched into the seats. Also, a tri-tone color split for the interior leather is available. A Supersports X specs also are optional which offers eight unique duo-tone exterior color combinations, as well as additional carbon-fiber trim pieces and titanium exhaust system.

The 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports has a starting price of $293,700 for the Coupe and $322,600 for the Convertible version. Only 250 Supersports will be offered for the Unites States. It's expected to arrive in the third quarter of this year.
