Dragon Ball Super Episode 81 Review/Recap, Episode 82 Jump Preview: Goku Loses To Toppo?

Dragon Ball Super Episode 81 has concluded, and as expected, the event showed many revelations and exciting battle. Also, the Daishinkan announced the sequence of the action for the upcoming Tournament of Power, and Toppo interfered to stage a fight with Son Goku for Dragon Ball Super Episode 82.

It's hard to see Son Goku act villain-ish for Dragon Ball Super Episode 81. Entitled "Crusher Bergamo vs. Son Goku! Who Has Sky-High Power?!" featured a not-to-intense battle between Universe 9's Bergamo and Universe 7's Son Goku for the Omni-Present match.

Before the game begins, Bergamo convinced the rest of the Universes to stand against Son Goku who is the mastermind behind the deadly result of the Tournament of Power. Bergamo proposed to Zeno that once he defeated Son Goku, he will revert his decision of erasing the losing Universes in the upcoming Multiverse Tournament, which the Omni-King agreed.

The surprising twist of the episode is the Daishinkan's reminder to Son Goku saying if he did not perform to his full potential, his Universe would be erased. The reminder from the Daishinkan gives Goku an extra boost to fight Bergamo, which also makes him looked less evil in the eyes of the fans.

Bergamo is known to absorb his opponent's power and use it to his advantage. Goku pushes Bergamo to his limits making him absorb more power to reveal his full potential. The Universe 9's champion transformed into a bigger version of himself after absorbing Son Goku's attacks. Goku transformed into Super Saiyan 1 to add more strength in his attacks. Again, Goku being Goku, he wants a much stronger opponent the reason he lands punch after punch to Bergamo.

Goku then transformed into Super Saiyan Blue, and Kaio-Ken, then blasted a powerful Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha to Bergamo which sets his defeat. Goku's win resulted to Zeno stays with his decision to annihilate the losing team.

Before the Dragon Ball Super Episode 81 ends, the Daishinkan discussed the rules and sequence of the Tournament of Power. The match will be done per team, meaning everyone from each Universe needs to battle it out. The team who has the most number of participants in the ring within 100 Taks wins.

Regarding fighting, weapons other than techniques, and flying will not be allowed in the World of Void. Killing the opponent in the match is also not allowed. Participants should knock their opponents off the ring in each battle.

For Dragon Ball Super Episode 82, Toppo the leader of Universe 11's Pride Troopers interfere to face Goku. The Pride troopers solely believe in justice and peace, thus, killing Son Goku who is the mastermind behind the Tournament of Power is just and right. Sources predict that Goku will lose in this battle between Toppo.

Toppo is a very compelling character, in fact, he was scouted by the gods to become the next God of Destruction. According to Inquistr, Goku is no match for Toppo the reason of him losing. Goku's lost will ignite his passion to training more and more for the upcoming Multiverse Tournament. The source suggests it would be a perfect storyline before entering the Universe Survival Arc.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 82 is set to air March 19th since the anime series will take a one-week break because of certain reasons. For the meantime, watch Dragon Ball Super Episode 82 preview below. As always, share us your thoughts in the comment section below.
