BlackBerry KeyOne may have a physical keyboard alongside its touch screen and may even bring back the "retro" technology. The rumored price of the BlackBerry KeyOne is around $620. Back in January, the phone was dubbed 'BlackBerry Mercury' until hitting the stage in Barcelona for confirmation of the phone and a few of its specs.

According to TechRadar, the BlackBerry KeyOne would be released on April of 2017. The phones notable feature would be the keyboard. It would have the likes of the BlackBerry Classic.

Aside from being touchscreen, the QWERTY key provides a blast from the past experience. Also, the KeyOne would have a fingerprint sensor, placed under the keyboard's space bar. It also states that the phone feels like a giant track pad.

The touchscreen with the QWERTY keys did not combine smoothly as users think it would be. The phone also features a programmable action key that enables the user to use two of their favorites emoji. The price confirmed would be around $620. The price is costly against other franchise devices.

The BlackBerry KeyOne would have a 4.5-inch and a 1,620 by 1090 display. One thing that was a concern regarding the phone would be the low 12-megapixel cameras.

The camera sometimes felt sluggish in the testing room, according to a hands-on review from the Independent. It is said that the phone would run an operating system built in with its Android 7.1.1. The Snapdragon 625 processor maybe somehow disappointing as this is not the fastest microchip in the market. With its Snapdragon, the pricing of the phone should be a little lower.

With the BlackBerry KeyOne, the spec does not really appeal against other smartphones which maybe hard to appeal to non-genuine BlackBerry fans. People bought BlackBerry for its feature of security credentials, but it may not stop people in choosing other top brands such as Apple and Samsung.
