Small SUVs has won the hearts of most Americans. Famous auto brands like Ford, Honda, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota were hailed as outstanding SUV's this year based on the review made by Consumer Reports.

SUVs became popular to Americans because of its' spacious cargo room, parking space friendly, elevate driving position, easy cabin access, and increased ground clearance. The best part is that all small SUVs are available with all-wheel drive.
Ford Escape. There's a myth that small SUVs has a poor performance compared to cars but the Ford Escape is definitely known for its powerful engine. Aside from being part of consumer Reports American Favorite SUV this vehicle is also named as the Utility Vehicle of the Year by the Automobile journalist Association of Canada (AJAC) as mentioned in Torque News.
